Feed Your Inner Viking!

Over the past couple months, for the first time, I personally experienced the fun and thrill associated with going to a local eatery and drinking hole and throwing hatchets and axes at a league sanctioned wooden target. Make the hatchet stick and it’s as rewarding as as driving a crisp, straight shot off the tee box… then return to to your seat and enjoy a sip of your beverage of choice!

5 years ago, I never would have thought the 'axe throwing bar' concept would be a trend today, but with more than 1,000 of these types of establishments taking over North America, ‘trend’ might be to light of a word to describe this phenomena!

My first experience was at the Fort Worth Axe Factory at a trade show I attend every every year called Nations Best Show. This time, however, I wanted to take the buyers somewhere off the beaten path; where everyone could relax and take a load off; come and go as it was convenient… most importantly, I wanted everyone to leave having had a great time and with a great story! Mission accomplished!

The next time you are looking for an offsite for clients, team building for your company, or special event for a friend, consider axe throwing!
